Frank Marino Baker, a native of the Salt Lake City area, emerged early as a mechanically inclined creator, often dismantling and reassembling objects to understand their composition—a skill that permeates his life and art. After a 14-year career in marketing post-graduation in 2001, Baker’s inherent knack for connection and resonance led him to sculpture and painting, with a particular passion for wire as his medium. His art, which includes a range of subjects inspired by his family, travels, and a quest for understanding, aims to visualize the flow of energy through material and spiritual realms. Having exhibited in venues like the Springville Museum of Art and sold internationally, Baker’s work seeks to encapsulate the interconnectivity and vitality present in the natural world and everyday encounters.
