In The Cricket’s Song, Cameron McLeod reflects on grief, memory, and belonging during the final months of his father’s life. Through photography, text, and landscape, the exhibition traces three generations’ experiences of loss, acknowledging the impermanence of life and the enduring echoes of place.
Cameron McLeod is a northern Utah–based photographer and artist whose lyrical, post-documentary practice examines home, impermanence, and the human relationship to natural landscapes. Originally from western Michigan, McLeod transitioned from a career in healthcare to photography in 2013, developing a practice that blends nuance, compassion, and reflection on the natural world.
