Michael Malm, a figure and landscape painter from Wellsville, UT, draws his inspiration from the serene Cache Valley and its rural surroundings. His artistic journey began at Dixie College under the mentorship of Del Parson, where he earned an associate degree. Furthering his education at Southern Utah University, Michael studied with Perry Stewart before obtaining a Master of Fine Arts from Utah State University under Glen Edwards. His development as an artist was significantly enriched by workshops with eminent painters like Richard Schmid, Burton Silverman, Daniel Gerhartz, Quang Ho, Ron Hicks, Michael Workman, and Jim Norton.
