The Cache Valley Center for the Arts is an independent nonprofit organization that manages three Logan City owned facilities, the Ellen Eccles Theatre, Bullen Art Center and Thatcher-Young Mansion. CVCA is the designated local arts agency for Cache County and fosters and supports the arts throughout the community as well as encouraging widespread community access, tourism and economic development. CVCA curates a performing arts series of touring artists, offers and hosts arts education activities for all ages and serves as a venue for many other arts organizations to perform and teach. They serve as an arts incubator, nurturing arts entrepreneurs and serving as a fiscal sponsor for arts startups. Resident arts organizations include Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, American Festival Chorus, Music Theatre West, Cache Theatre Company, Cache Valley Civic Ballet, Valley Dance Ensemble, Unicorn Theatre, Logan Youth Shakespeare, New Horizons Orchestra, and a cooperative Artists Gallery. Winner of the 1993 Governor’s Award in the Arts. Took on the arts education programming of the Alliance for the Varied Arts in 2010.
