The Cathedral of the Madeleine presents the 2026 Madeleine Festival of the Arts and Humanities, a series of lectures and performances held during the Easter season. Bringing together artists and thinkers from Utah and beyond, the festival seeks to revive the historic role of cathedrals as centers of cultural life, offering music, scholarship, and reflection in a shared public setting.
The 2026 festival features a lecture by Sister M. Veronique Wiedower and performances by Utah Chamber Artists, NOVA Chamber Music Series, the Choir of the Cathedral of the Madeleine, and the choristers of The Madeleine Choir School. All events are free and open to the public.

April 19, 7:30 pm – Madeleine Festival Lecture: Singing I hurry on… The Life and Poetry of Sr. Madeleva Wolff
April 27 & 28, 7:30 pm – Utah Chamber Artists Collage Concert
May 7, 7:30 pm; May 8, 10:30 am & 7:30 pm – Benjamin Britten’s Noye’s Fludde
May 17, 7:30 pm – Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time (with NOVA Chamber Music Series)
