Now in its fifth year, Los Muros on Main returns to Midvale’s Main Street Arts & Culture District as a weeklong celebration of public art, community, and continual reinvention. What sets the festival apart is its commitment to change: each year, select murals are replaced with new works, ensuring the district remains a dynamic, ever-evolving outdoor gallery. By the end of this year’s festival, 50 large-scale murals will line Main Street, making it one of the most vibrant mural corridors in the Salt Lake Valley.
Throughout the week, a curated group of nationally recognized muralists will paint live, transforming the district into an active studio where visitors can watch new works take shape in real time. Community events punctuate the week, including a Tasty Tuesday Food Truck and Mural Watch Party (June 9, 5–8 p.m.), a DIY mural workshop with Craft Lake City (June 9, 5–7 p.m.), and a guided Mural Walk led by Mayor Dustin Gettel (June 11, 6–7:30 p.m.).
The festival culminates in a free public celebration on Saturday, June 13, from 4–9 p.m., featuring live music, a beer garden, artisan vendors, food trucks, and opportunities to meet the artists behind the murals. Drawing thousands of visitors annually, Los Muros on Main continues to activate public space while positioning Midvale as a growing destination for arts and culture.
