Utah-based artists and curators invited to apply
The Salt Lake City Arts Council will open submissions for the 2027 Finch Lane Gallery Call for Entries on Monday, May 18, 2026. Utah-based artists, artist-led teams or groups, and curators are invited to apply. The application deadline is Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
Selected artists and curators will present exhibitions at Finch Lane Gallery during the 2027 calendar year. Exhibiting artists receive a $500 honorarium and present work in a professionally supported gallery setting.

Located in Reservoir Park at 54 Finch Lane, Salt Lake City, Finch Lane Gallery is a contemporary exhibition space dedicated to showcasing Utah-based artists. Both established and emerging artists are encouraged to apply.
The Finch Lane Gallery exhibition program is designed to:
Provide Utah-based artists with an opportunity to exhibit a current body of work
Encourage exploration of exhibition themes or media relevant to the community and the broader field of the arts
Foster curatorial development through exhibition production and collaboration
The application process includes a competitive review by the Visual Arts Committee of the Salt Lake City Arts Council. This Call for Entries is open to artists, artist-led teams, and curators residing in Utah. All visual arts media, including new genres, are encouraged to apply.
