Salt Lake City
October 16 – Nov. 7
Opening Reception: October 16, 6-9 pm
Phillips Gallery presents sculpture by Larry Elsner (1930–1990) alongside oil landscapes by Earl Jones (1937–2024) in the Main Floor Gallery. The exhibition brings together work by two significant Utah artists: Elsner’s sculptural practice and Jones’ distinctive approach to the Western landscape.
Showing concurrently downstairs in the Dibble Gallery is Abandoned Place, an exhibition of photography by Roland Miller documenting the historic remains of early 20th-century U.S. space-program launch and research facilities.
