Community Celebration: August 21, 6–8 pm
In the Making celebrates artwork created by artists participating in University of Utah programs led by emerging art educators. Framed around artmaking as a process of discovery, the exhibition highlights how creative practice builds confidence, fosters relationships, and shapes both artists and teachers. The exhibition includes work by participants and educators in the university’s Community Arts Research & Education (CARE) Program, alongside artwork created by young artists attending the department’s summer camps.
A community celebration will be held on August 21, inviting visitors to meet participants and explore the exhibition.
