Wet Concrete brings together recent urban landscape paintings by Jake Gooch and Dallin Orr, created through plein air sessions at sites across the Salt Lake Valley. Focusing on roadsides, overpasses, industrial corridors, and other overlooked locations, the exhibition captures the character of the city’s built environment through direct observation. The small-scale paintings offer two distinct perspectives on familiar urban spaces while celebrating the visual possibilities found in everyday infrastructure.
