New York City–based artist Ryann Woods Ham presents a new body of work spanning painting, drawing, and sculpture. The title Sharron, shared by the artist’s cat and grandmother, serves as a portal into her sensitivity and connection to the world around her. In ancient texts, Sharron refers to a place associated with fertility, peace, and rest. These ideas inform the artist’s practice and the work developed over the past two years.
