Bountiful

Raíces en Poder (Roots in Power) is a group exhibition organized through a collaboration between Artes de México en Utah and the Bountiful Davis Art Center. The exhibition brings together the work of artists who applied to and were selected for the 2025 Artes de México en Utah Artists in Residence program, which was placed on hold following the closure of The Leonardo Museum and budget reductions that prevented the residency from continuing as planned.
Rather than marking the end of the program, the exhibition highlights the commitment and creativity of participating artists, whose work reflects ongoing artistic research and community engagement. Raíces en Poder celebrates resilience, imagination, and the power of art to preserve cultural heritage, honor shared histories, and strengthen the cultural fabric of Utah’s Latino community while imagining shared futures.
