Josh Clare is a Utah painter based in Cache Valley whose work explores light, landscape, and spiritual experience through oil painting. Born and raised in Utah, he studied at Brigham Young University Idaho, where he was introduced to painting and developed under the guidance of influential mentors. Clare’s paintings often reflect a reverence for the natural world and the effects of sunlight and atmosphere, informed by his belief that painting can communicate deeply felt emotional and spiritual truths. He lives in Cache Valley with his wife and five children.
