Salt Lake City
May 29 – July 3, 2026
Reception: Monday, June 29, 12–1 pm
In Flowerhood Chapter of Life, Lisa Zamora presents a photomontage series reflecting on the transition into motherhood through layered botanical imagery and personal narrative. Each composition intertwines blooming flowers, nocturnal moments of newborn care, and grounded landscapes, creating visual metaphors for nurturing, transformation, and continuity. Rooted in both the intimate and the universal, the work considers motherhood as a shared lineage shaped by resilience and care. An MFA-trained artist with a background in the performing arts, Zamora brings a sensitivity to movement and composition into her photographic practice, with work exhibited regionally and nationally.
