Danielle Rante is a Cedar City, Utah–based artist whose work examines how humans experience landscape. Working primarily on traditional washi papers, she creates large-scale yet intimate environments that blur the boundaries between drawing, painting, alternative photography, and printmaking. Her images aim at states of contemplation and the sensation of awe—what it feels like to be in a place, not just to see it. Rante has exhibited nationally and internationally. She is represented by K. Imperial Fine Art and teaches printmaking at Southern Utah University.
