Summit County Public Art Advisory Board (SCPAAB) is seeking artists to design and create seven artistic benches for the exterior of the Silver Summit Services Building. The project includes two 8-foot benches and five 5-foot benches, intended as durable, permanent public artworks.

Proposed designs should reflect themes of unity, community, justice, service, and law and order, while engaging viewers beyond the immediate installation. All work must be fabricated using materials suitable for long-term outdoor exposure, capable of withstanding deep snowfall, high winds, and fluctuating temperatures, and requiring minimal maintenance.

Submissions must be appropriate for all ages and a broad public audience. Proposals containing profanity, nudity, political messaging, or divisive imagery will not be considered. The goal is to create welcoming, accessible artwork that resonates across the community.

Eligibility: Open to artists able to meet project requirements and produce durable outdoor work.
