The City of Orem is accepting applications for its inaugural Artist-in-Residence program, open to visual, material and performing artists eligible to work in the United States. The selected artist will receive a $10,000 stipend, plus up to $3,000 for travel, lodging and expenses and up to $2,000 for materials, to create a substantive artistic work while completing a six-week residency in Orem between February and June 2027.
The residency includes public events, programming for Orem Public Library patrons and consultations with local artists. Applicants must be 18 or older, demonstrate active engagement as an artist and have a history of creative production within the past five years. Collaborative applications are not permitted.
