Spectrum and Poor Yorick Tonight

You can make your Friday night all about art tonight. After taking a look at the Gary Vlasic performance (see below), or maybe as an interlude between visits, check out the open studios at Poor Yorick Studios and Spectrum Studios, both in South Salt Lake.

Taking inspiration from the festive cities of Guanajuato, Mexico and Collioure, France, Poor Yorick has recently painted the studio complex “to reflect the idea that it might be a place where artists are doing something inside.”

Although admission is always free, you might want to bring $5 and a T-shirt or similar item you want a Poor Yorick-themed image from Copper Palate Press printed on.

The studios are also open Saturday 1 – 5pm.

Poor Yorick is at 126 W Crystal Ave (2590 South) and Spectrum Studios is one block away at 196 W Malvern Ave (2625 S).
