Salt Lake City
June 2–28, 2026
Artist Reception: June 19, 6–9 pm
Urban Arts Gallery presents SLC Queer, a group exhibition celebrating the self-expression, creativity, and resilience of Salt Lake City’s LGBTQ+ community. Timed to coincide with Pride Month, the exhibition highlights the many ways artists use visual language to explore identity, authenticity, belonging, and personal experience.
Bringing together a diverse range of local artists, SLC Queer reflects the vibrancy of the community it represents. Through painting, illustration, mixed media, and other contemporary approaches, the exhibition offers a space for artists to share stories, challenge assumptions, and celebrate the beauty that emerges when individuals are free to live openly and honestly. More than a showcase of artwork, the exhibition serves as a celebration of community, visibility, and the creative spirit that continues to shape Salt Lake City’s cultural landscape.
