Logan, Utah
March 18 – April 1, 2026
Reception: March 23, 5–7 pm
The Bachelor of Fine Arts seniors in the Art + Design Department at Utah State University present Ouroboros, their annual capstone exhibition, in the Tippetts and Eccles Galleries. The exhibition features work by 21 graduating students working across disciplines including drawing and painting, ceramics, sculpture, photography, art education, and printmaking.
Named for the ancient symbol of a serpent consuming its own tail, Ouroboros evokes cycles of continuity, transformation, and renewal. For these emerging artists, the exhibition represents both an ending and a beginning: the culmination of their undergraduate studies and the start of their independent artistic practices.
The exhibition is fully student-curated, with participating artists responsible for every aspect of the show—from concept development and installation to public outreach and event coordination. The work on view reflects several years of studio practice, research, and experimentation, presenting a wide range of materials, approaches, and perspectives.
