New $5k–$10k Grants for Visual Artists in Salt Lake County

The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art (UMOCA) is thrilled to announce the launch of the Assemblage Art Fund, a new grant program designed to support visual artists and collectives working in Salt Lake County.

Developed through the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts’ Regional Regranting Program, Assemblage supports visual art projects that are collaborative in spirit, alternative in form, and publicly accessible.

WHAT’S AVAILABLE

6–12 Grants Awarded Annually

Process Grants ($5,000)

early-stage, small-scale, or experimental projects

Project Grants ($10,000)

ambitious collaborative projects with clear public engagement

Asemblage is built to support projects that:

Are new and rooted in visual arts practice

Include collaborative elements

Happen within Salt Lake County

Engage audiences in public and creative ways

Push the boundaries of traditional formats

Think pop-up exhibitions, artist-led publications, experimental performances, site-responsive installations, or something entirely new.
