Salt Lake Community College presents Cycles, a solo exhibition by Ogden-based mixed media artist and SLCC alumna Megan Wilson. Through layered collages that combine scientific observation, drawing, painting, and textured materials, Wilson explores themes of life cycles, energy transfer, decay, and renewal. Her work examines the interconnected processes of destruction and creation found throughout the natural world, from microbes and insects to geological formations and astronomical phenomena.
Wilson earned her BFA from Weber State University in 2012. Her work has been exhibited in the Utah Division of Arts & Museums Statewide Annual Mixed Media and Works on Paper Exhibition, the University of Utah’s PaperWest exhibition, the George S. & Dolores Doré Eccles Gallery at Salt Lake Community College, and the Eccles Art Center in Ogden.
