I knew Layne when I went to Highland High school in Salt Lake and the last time I saw him was while waiting in line to enter the Freedom Hill PX in Danang, Vietnam when we were both serving in the Marines.
I have a tremendous respect for Layne and I’m very pleased to discover these pictures of some of his works that reveal the complexity and sophistication of his visual explorations into his rich inner world that speaks to the viewer from a place that is both mysterious and beautiful.
