David Ericson Fine Art presents new work by two Utah painters whose practices explore memory, place, and the emotional resonance of everyday experience. Justin Wheatley is known for luminous landscapes and architectural scenes that merge observation with quiet reflection, drawing on nature, neighborhoods, and the spaces people inhabit. Zach Proctor creates nostalgic figurative paintings inspired by family photographs, personal memories, and historical imagery, constructing scenes that blur the boundaries between recollection and imagination. Together, the exhibition offers complementary perspectives on how painting can transform familiar subjects into deeply personal narratives.
