Through photography, film, and installation, Mason Rose examines the emotional complexity of single fatherhood outside conventional family structures. Bringing together portraits made across Utah, California, and Hawaiʻi, the exhibition explores absence, memory, responsibility, and the ways ideas about masculinity and care shape the experience of fatherhood. Alongside large-scale photographic portraits, the exhibition includes a short film, an installation centered on the artist’s childhood family dinner table, and a participatory work inviting visitors to reflect on their own relationships with fathers and fatherhood.
