Brian Jensen is a Utah–based ceramic artist whose practice centers on glaze research, innovation, and the recovery of specialized surface technologies that have nearly vanished from contemporary ceramic knowledge. He holds an MFA in Ceramics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Ceramics/Secondary Education from Southern Utah University. Jensen’s work has been featured in more than 130 exhibitions across 24 U.S. states as well as in Korea and Denmark, and he has led workshops, lectures, and conference presentations nationally and internationally. His work and methods have been published widely, including feature articles in Ceramics Monthly. Jensen is Professor of Ceramics at Utah Valley University.
