The Brigham City Museum of Art and History is excited to announce its call for entries to the highly anticipated 2026 Photography Competition, centered around the theme, “Development.”

This open competition invites photographers to explore the various interpretations of the theme “Development.” Development is a process, and it is a skill to be nurtured. It may reflect physical or digital techniques. It may be an exterior force or an internal reflection on where we have been, where we are, or where we are going. For some, it may be a combination of these things. It is up to the artist to find the development within their craft and share it with the world through their photography in this special exhibition.
A total of six cash prizes will be awarded, including a $500 top prize for the winning photograph!
There is a $35 entry fee, or a student discount is available. A physical piece must be submitted to the museum for display before September 26th, 2026. For competition rules and more information, please visit www.museum.bcutah.gov.
