Rooted in Ogden Contemporary Arts’ 2026 theme of Radical Joy, the Artist Factory Exhibition: Teachers & Students brings teaching artists and students into creative dialogue through a collaborative and intergenerational exhibition. Developed through workshops inspired by the teaching artists’ practices, themes, and conceptual frameworks, the student works respond to rather than replicate the artists’ contributions, creating a dynamic exchange across experience, perspective, and medium. The exhibition transforms the gallery into a site of active participation and shared authorship, emphasizing mentorship, accessibility, and the evolving nature of contemporary art. Together, the works celebrate art’s ability to foster resilience, connection, imagination, and joy across generations.
