Reception: Saturday, May 2, 4–5:30 pm
In written in blue, Anne Flynn presents textile works that combine cyanotype and quilting to explore language, identity, and emotional fragmentation. Using UV-exposed cyanotypes on fabric, Flynn captures partial images and text that dissolve into layered, stitched compositions, where meaning remains elusive and unsettled. Drawing on the histories of both photography and fiber arts, her work embraces imperfection and distortion, inviting viewers into a space where communication falters and personal narrative emerges through material process.
