Salt Lake City artist Ruby Chacon was recently honored as a Hispanic Artist at the Hispanic Heritage Gala Awards, held at Distinctive Catering this past weekend. The awards honor successful hispanics in the community who also serve as role models. Chacon, a Utah Native, recently completed a mural for Catholic Community Services in Salt Lake City (see here).
