Jenna Lineweaver heads the list for SUAG’s Turn Up the Heat Exhibit

The Southern Utah Art Guild has announced the winners of its show Turn Up the Heat. The judges for Turn Up the Heat show were nationally known artist Bev Doolittle and her artist husband Jay. The show features 85 pieces of art of all media, 2D and 3D, from 37 artists.

Best of Show – Jenna Lineweaver for “Awakening #2” – Mixed Media
First Place – Mel Scott for “695” – Alcohol Ink
Second Place – Mike Fletcher for “Jungle Heat” – Acrylic
Third Place – Dr. Jo Campbell for “Summer Storm Clouds and Buttes” – Etching
Honorable Mentions:
Gary Alba for “Valley of Fire” – Photography
Eddi Malloy for “Infinity” – Watercolor
Annie Barber for “Spring Time” – Watercolor
Brian Lawson for “Nature’s Light” – Photography
Kimbriel McLeod for “Paint & Flowers Collide” – Mixed Media
R. Kurtis Larson for “Flambé” – Photography
The Peoples Choice Award for the “Spring Forward” show was awarded to Alan Curtis for “Spring in the Woodland.”

Turn Up the Heat runs through June 15th in the Red Cliff Gallery (located in the City Commons Building, 220 E 200 N, St George).
