Time, Truth, and Other Immeasurables explores dimensions of experience that resist calculation, including time, truth, vastness, spirituality, deep time, and history as it unfolds in the moment. The exhibition brings together artists whose work considers the existential nature of these immeasurable forces. Featured artists include Shirin Abedinirad, John Bell, Dawoud Bey, Paul Crow, Tacita Dean, Andy Goldsworthy, Michael Handley, Teresa Hubbard / Alexander Birchler, Beth Krensky, William Lamson, Stefan Lesueur, Ron Linn, L, Katie Paterson, James Perkins, Martha Rosler, Sho Shibuya, Robert Smithson, Hank Willis Thomas, Bill Viola, Kara Walker, and Suyi Xu. Works engage ideas of memory, belief, the infinite and sublime, contemplative stillness, geological age, and slow processes.
