Dia Art Foundation recently named two local organizations as stewards of the Spiral Jetty: Utah Museum of Fine Arts and the Great Salt Lake Institute at Westminster College. What does this mean for Robert Smithson’s famous work? Find out at “The Future of Spiral Jetty: Community and Collaboration Panel Discussion.” It will be held at the Main Library Auditorium on February 2, 2012 at 7pm. The panel, moderated by KCPW’s Jennifer Napier-Pearce, will include:

• Gretchen Dietrich, Executive Director, UMFA
• Dr. Bonnie Baxter, Director, The Great Salt Lake Institute at Westminster College
