The Park City Gallery Stroll usually takes place the last Friday of every month.

Gallery MAR UP: In their new, larger space at 436 Main, Gallery MAR presents Summer Light, featuring more than 20 new paintings by Ron Russon |0| and a new collection of glassworks by Jared Davis. Out of his North Rim Glass Studio, Davis blows glass inspired by the vast beauty of western Colorado. With his Fission technique he layers numerous colors and using a special crackle process, he has created a recognizable design, which results in unique one of a kind works of art.|1| With a loose brush and active pallet knife Russon describes varied scenes, from a serene resting tractor in a wind rowed field of hay to a cacophony of geometric colors creating luminescent bison.

Kimball Art Center UP: Past Presence: Select Works by Photographers in the B.Y.U. Fine Art Department. Illuminating how photography evolved into what it is today, the images included in this exhibition are a glance into the past. Each photograph has been carefully created through unique and nearly extinct photographic processes by fine art students at Brigham Young University.|2|
. AND: One of a Kind: New Monotypes by Kathryn Stedham & Jeff Juhlin.|3| Stedham's work revisits past themes in her largely monochromatic, hauntingly ghost-like, topsy-turvy forms that explore light, movement and surface within the delicate confines of the papers edge. Juhlin's prints explore the important balance of organizing organic and geometric forms against a backdrop of intense color. Two artists, two different methods of working, in the pursuit of a single image. . UPCOMING: Relevant 2012, an exhibition of works by artists participating in the 8-day artist-in-residence program. Will feature works by Lindsay Carone, Jeremy Emmendorfer, Haigen Pearson, Zahra Nazari, Matt Reimers.

Julie Nester Gallery UP: For Nomads and Warriors, Massachusetts painter Carol O'Malia has created a series of figurative paintings depicting young men at work and at play. One set of paintings focuses on men in a boxing ring |4| and the other consists of young men playing on or near a waterfront.

Meyer Gallery UP: Labor of Love, new work from Andrew Ballstaedt,|5| Fidalis Buehler and Brian Kershisnik.|6| All three artists spend time together painting, talking and influencing one another. This show explores how similar ideas and concepts can find very different expressions, even within the same circle of influence. UPCOMING: Luminous. During the Park City Arts Festival the gallery will feature live, scheduled encaustic painting demonstrations by master encaustic painters Michelle Haglund |7| and Chris Reilly. They will also premier six new encaustic paintings in the gallery.

JGO Gallery UP: Second Annual Massively SMALL show, featuring work by JGO Gallery artists distilled down, including the surrealist western imaginings of Jeremy Mangan, the pop art pistols of James Georgopoulos, and the energized non-representational abstracts of Krista Harris. And many more. All pieces measure no larger than 15 inches in any dimension.|8|

District Gallery UP:
Seattle based artist Michael Dickter.|9|

Coda Gallery UP:
New work by Aaron Fritz.

The Ogden First Fridays Art Walk takes place every month on the First Friday of the month. Galleries will hold receptions 6-9 pm.
