Born in Dover, Delaware, Lisa Bickmore grew up living\u00a0all over the United States and in Japan. She is the author of three\u00a0books of poems:\u00a0Haste<\/a>\u00a0(Signature Books<\/a>, 1994),\u00a0flicker,<\/a>\u00a0which won the 2014Antivenom Prize<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0Elixir Press,<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Ephemerist (Red Mountain Press,\u00a0<\/a>June 2017). She earned a B.A. and an M.A. from Brigham Young University. Currently, she is a Professor of English at Salt Lake Community College, where she was the recipient of the SLCC Foundation Teaching Excellence Award in 2006.
