The color of that distance is the color of an emotion, the color of solitude and of desire, the color of there seen from here, the color of where you are not. And the color of where you can never go: Rebecca Solnit<\/p>\n<p>Virtually every color has an associated, broadly familiar archetype. Blue is a notable exception. Some would assert that it is the archetype for the skies and oceans. The bartender is wearing robotic goggles that make him look like a Daft Punk reject. One of his hands is skeletal, just like the rest of him; the other is a pirate hook. The menu includes libations like \u201cStarry Night\u201d (a cocktail of whiskey, yellow paint and jaundice) and \u201cTell Tale Heart\u201d (a refreshing mixture of \u201cWhat?\u201d, \u201cThis isn\u2019t real\u201d and \u201cNo no no no no\u2026\u201d).<\/p>\n<p class=\"txtStyle_body1 mb_$body1\" data-wisiwig-body1=\"true\">This nightmarish dive bar is just one of many surreal sights you\u2019ll find at Dreamscapes, an immersive art exhibition at The Gateway. But just as Dreamscapes takes visitors on a journey, the exhibition has been on a journey of its own since its inception in 2017.
