Image by Sharifa Lafon.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Jeff Lambson, a former curator of contemporary art at Brigham Young University and a nationally recognized museum leader, is returning to Utah to serve as deputy director of the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (NEHMA) at Utah State University.<\/p>\n<p>Lambson\u2019s appointment comes at a time of growth for NEHMA, which recently opened the Wanlass Center for Art Education and Research. Known for organizing ambitious exhibitions and fostering cross-community dialogue, Lambson brings 25 years of experience from institutions including the Smithsonian\u2019s Hirshhorn Museum and the University of Colorado Denver, where he dramatically expanded reach and programming.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJeff brings together the experience, visionary thinking, passion, and kindness that I was looking for,\u201d said Executive Director Katie Lee-Koven. \u201cWe are thrilled to welcome him and Ann to USU and the Cache Valley community.\u201dJeff\u2019s wife, Ann, who has worked at the Denver Art Museum, the BYU Museum of Art, and the National Building Museum in Washington, DC, has roots in Providence, Utah.
