Number 2, from economist Diane Coyle, is to hire everybody. In the long-run she&#8217;d like that the private sector be responsible for full-employment, but in the short term, and as a remedy for overcoming the current crises, she believes we should look back to the WPA and similar government programs.<\/p>\n<p>Reading the article might serve as a good primer for a current exhibit of Depression era prints at the UMFA. The exhibition includes 60 woodcuts, serigraphs,  lithographs and etchings from the private collection of Marcia and John Price.
