Meaghan Gates<\/a> is a ceramicist whose work explores abstracted biological forms with anthropomorphic gestures and colors, encouraging empathy and speculation on the outcomes of change. She earned her BFA from California State University, Chico, and her MFA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where she was a Distinguished Art Fellow.<\/p>\n

Meaghan\u2019s ceramic sculptures have been exhibited both internationally and across the United States. She is currently based in St. George, Utah, where she develops new work and serves as an Assistant Professor in Ceramics at Utah Tech University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
