Choreographed by Val Caniparoli, this psychological thriller delves deep into the complexities of the human psyche, exploring the duality between good and evil. Based on the classic 19th-century tale by Robert Louis Stevenson, the ballet is as much a theatrical experience as a dance performance. Featuring mature themes of violence and sexual content, the production is recommended for audiences over the age of 15. Caniparoli’s choreography, combined with powerful music from composers like Chopin and Górecki, aims to visualize Dr. Jekyll’s transformation into the dark and desire-driven Mr. Hyde. Following the success of Dracula, this gripping production comes just in time for Halloween, offering an unforgettable dance experience for mature audiences.

MORE INFO

An Evening with Percival Everett at Kingsbury Hall

On October 29, 2024, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, the Tanner Humanities Center will host An Evening with Percival Everett at Kingsbury Hall, University of Utah.
