\n\t\t<\/div>\n\nThe annual purchasing appropriation has decreased with the tough economic times, but the Salt Lake County Art Committee, a volunteer group made up of artists, art professionals and art lovers, was able to add a significant body of work to Salt Lake County’s patrimony, including a number of sculptural works. Original works by Jen Harmon Allen, Joe Ostraff, Rob Adamson, Al Denyer, Kay Kuzminski and Paul Stout have been added to the collection. In addition, a suite of prints purchased from Saltgrass Printmakers brings in works by Sean Caulfield, Akiko Tanaguchi, Joe Ostraff, Gary Barton, Koichi Yamamoto, Sandy Brunvand, Erik Brunvand, Stefanie Dykes and Ed Bateman.<\/p>\n
The works will continue to be on public display, but during tonight’s reception you’ll find them all in one place. You’ll also have the chance to meet Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon, members of the Art Committee and some of the artists.<\/p>\n
