For 22 years, we’ve been at the heart of Utah’s visual art community.<\/p>\n

Without a sustained discourse about the arts, a town or county or state\u2019s cultural programming risks becoming a series of isolated events, with no context, depth or continuity. Artists of Utah is the loom that weaves together Utah\u2019s various cultural activities, creating dialogue by bringing together different artists, organizations and programs, as well as by providing a community forum that allows the public to explore the arts in an in-depth manner.<\/p>\n

At the core of our enterprise are the community writers, photographers and videographers who keep vibrant the discourse about our great art scene. For the first several years of our 22-year history, we relied on these individuals to provide content on a volunteer basis. But as our community deserves and as these talented individuals merit, over the past decade we have striven to make providing great insight and commentary about the arts not only a vocation but a profession as well.<\/p>\n

Our aim on #GivingTuesday is to raise $2200. This will help us meet our year-end fundraising goals and enable us to raise the rate we pay our content providers by 15%.<\/p>\n

Help us do this so we can keep the heart of Utah’s art community beating strong.<\/p>\n
