Recently, Smock & Roll<\/a>, the Salt Lake City mural duo of Caroline Kane and Alli VanKleek, let their cans rip on a whole back-store plaza in downtown Provo, adding several murals to an area already throbbing with street art. The works are located on the 200 North block of University Ave \u2014 but around back, adorning Get Out Games, Back Door Burger and Heber Hatchets.<\/p>\n

These aren’t the only murals that have gone up around Provo in the past several months.<\/p>\n

Painted by Jefferson Jasper<\/a> on the side of Tom Nox Men’s Shop (164 W 500 N) at the beginning of this year.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

These hearts, painted by BYU art student Madi Mykal Titon<\/a>, flutter across the wall like scores of tiny fish nibbling at your skin (FishKiss is a fish spa). 32 S. Freedom Blvd.<\/p>\n

While all murals are sponsored by the businesses they appear on, some are more overtly linked to the businesses than others.<\/p>\n

This mural by Emmy Trounce<\/a> is on the south side of Liminal, a greenhouse gift shop (56 S. Freedom Blvd.) and serves as the company’s logo on their website.<\/p>\n

Bill Harris Musi<\/a>c has been a staple in the Provo area since the middle of the last century. When they moved to a new location at 144 W. 400 South, Lady Bright<\/a>, a Kaysville artist, created this mural as part of the Downtown Provo Monthly Mural Program (June, 2022).<\/p>\n
