On Friday, September 16, the beginning of the weekend celebrating Mexican Independence, Consul of Mexico Socorro Rovirosa and other dignitaries will cut the ribbon launching Viva Frida, a 5-week celebration of the life of Frida Kahlo and Mexican art and culture at the SLC Main Library. Gather 5 p.m. on the Library Plaza (south side of building), and the ribbon cutting will be at 5:30.<\/p><\/div>\n
