As we contemplate expanding our coverage into the performing arts, Salty Cricket Composers Collective is one of the groups in our radar to cover. We haven’t quite pulled that together yet, but we didn’t want you to miss an opportunity to hear music by this group of local composers, so here’s their press release for a performance tonight at the Rose Wagner.<\/p>\n

“Nothing says Christmas like Green Jello. I mean Cello. I mean Green Cello! Our last Salty Cricket performance of the 2010 season will be this Monday, December 20. Subtitled “Rated PG For Language and Low Violins” this concert is going to rock with our re-imagined string quartet: two violas, two cellos, and two pieces add Mezzo-soprano. We hope you’ll join us!<\/p>\n

(Note there won’t be an foul language in the pieces with singer)<\/p>\n
