She graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelors in Fine Art with an emphasis in Ceramic Sculpture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Artist Statement<\/strong><br \/>\nMy work is informed by my personal experience living amidst 2 contrasting cultures\u2014a conservative community culture that focused on traditional values and perfectionism, and a home life that was dysfunctional and often neglectful. Stylistically, my work is inspired by the Surrealism movement; artwork driven from the subconscious.
