In addition to exhibiting at the Bountiful\/Davis Art Center and Terzian Galleries in Park City, Ronniger has been recognized for his work with purchases, awards and publication. The Salt Lake County Art Committee purchased his work, &#8220;Promenading Primary Feathers,&#8221; for the County&#8217;s collection. His &#8220;2 Wrong Turns Don&#8217;t Make a Right&#8221; received the First Place award in the Deseret News annual Color of the Land exhibition this summer. And his work received a four-page spread in the October\/November edition of New American Paintings. This month, Ronniger&#8217;s brand of &#8220;Contemporary Realism&#8221; is on exhibit at Tanner Frames along with paintings by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.allisonleighsmith.com\/\" target=\"_new\">Allison Leigh Smith<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/artistsofutah.org\/15bytes\/images\/0sp0.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"15\" height=\"15\" border=\"0\" \/><i>What hangs above your mantel?<\/i><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/artistsofutah.org\/15bytes\/images\/0sp.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"15\" height=\"15\" border=\"0\" \/>No mantel, but there&#8217;s a nice still life drawing by Lowell Tolstedt, an Allison Leigh Smith or 2 and some Rick Graham and Paul Davis figures.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/artistsofutah.org\/15bytes\/images\/0sp0.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"15\" height=\"15\" border=\"0\" \/><i>What is your favorite building in Utah?<\/i><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/artistsofutah.org\/15bytes\/images\/0sp.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"15\" border=\"0\" \/>Angelina&#8217;s Corner on 700 So. and 200 West. Simple modern design with bold colors and uniquely tilted windows. It&#8217;s very refreshing to see, we need some more of this in Utah.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/artistsofutah.org\/15bytes\/images\/0sp0.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"15\" height=\"15\" border=\"0\" \/><i>What is the most memorable exhibit you&#8217;ve seen recently?\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/artistsofutah.org\/15bytes\/images\/0sp.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"15\" border=\"0\" \/>Will Cotton.
