The center is currently located in temporary facilities on Kearns Blvd.Smith comes to the Kimball from Clark Planetarium, where since 2012 she was Associate Director and oversaw the Planetarium\u2019s Marketing and Development, Operations, and Education Departments. She began her career in the finance industry, working for both Zions Bank and Fidelity Investments, before moving on to the nonprofit sector at Discovery Gateway Children\u2019s Museum. In 2006, she moved to the nonprofit sector as the Director of Communications for Junior Achievement of Utah before moving on to Discovery Gateway Children\u2019s Museum.<br \/>\n<br class=\"yiv4129914621\" \/>About her new role, Smith said, \u201cI am thrilled to join the Kimball Art Center. I look forward to working with the staff and board to continue the legacy of excellence of this dynamic organization. With a rich history, the KAC plays a unique and profound role in the arts.
