Weller, co-owner of <span class=\"yshortcuts\">Salt Lake<\/span> City&rsquo;s 80-year old <span style=\"border-bottom: 1px dashed rgb(0, 102, 204); cursor: pointer\" class=\"yshortcuts\">independent bookstore<\/span>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wellersbookworks.com\" rel=\"noopener\">Sam Weller&rsquo;s Books<\/a>, received the 2009 Gordon Saull Bookseller of the Year Award. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 114%\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.65pt; line-height: 114%\"> Catherine Weller joined the Weller family bookselling tradition in 1994, three years after marrying Tony Weller. Prior to her bookselling work, she had spent a decade in library work within the University of Utah&rsquo;s library system. Catherine is Sam Weller&rsquo;s main buyer for new books and supervisor of author events and publicity. She does <span style=\"background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; cursor: pointer; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial\" class=\"yshortcuts\">television book reviews<\/span> on Salt Lake City&rsquo;s <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.65pt; line-height: 114%; font-style: italic\">KJZZ in the Morning<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.65pt; line-height: 114%\"> program on channel 14, on the first Friday of each month. She is also a former president of the MPIBA.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: 114%\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.65pt; line-height: 114%\">In addition to their tremendous contribution to Utah&#8217;s literary art world, the Wellers also support the visual arts with their series of unique exhibitions held in the Gallery on the Mezzanine.
