We’ll be putting on the finishing touches today: getting those lights just right, double-checking all the labels, rounding up the food. And then we’ll plan to meet you tonight at 6pm for the opening of our 35 x 35 exhibition.<\/p>\n

The Artists of Utah Board of Directors has juried in 75 pieces from thirty-five artists under the age of 35. In addition to some of the best 2-D art going on in the state you’ll see sculpture and video art, an eye-popping installation and a site-specific performance the night of the opening (7 pm). <\/span><\/p>\n

At the opening you’ll be able to meet members of our board, writers editors and photographers of 15 Bytes and some of the freshest artists in the state.<\/p>\n

While you’re at the opening remember to slip in your ballot for the People’s Choice Award<\/span>. Your vote will help determine which artist will receive a cash award as well as a featured article in the pages of 15 Bytes.<\/p>\n

So, as part of your Gallery Stroll, plan on seeing us tonight (Friday September 18) at Finch Lane Gallery (1325 East 100 South) from 6 – 9 pm.<\/p>\n

The show continues through November 6. There will be an additional Gallery Stroll reception on October 16. Awards will be presented at this reception, as well as a video presentation on the artists involved in the exhibit.<\/p>\n
